In making a reservation, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Arrivals & Departures
Please contact us at least 24 hours in advance with an approximate time of arrival.
Check in: from 2 p.m - 9.30pm Check out:by 12.00 noon on the day of departure. Failure to vacate by a reasonable time may result in further charges. Arrivals before 2pm are welcome to leave luggage and vehicles, subject to availability. Late check out will also be accommodated upon request if possible.
Cancellation Policy - A full 72 hours notice is required.
Cancellation of your booking must be made in writing. Cancellations made with less than 3 days notice will be subject to the full cost of the first 2 nights of the booking if we are unable to resell the room. If the rooms are sold at a reduced rate we reserve the right to charge the difference to the card number given to guarantee the room. We therefore recommend cancellation insurance.
If we are forced to cancel your booking for reasons outside our control we will endeavour to offer you alternative comparable accommodation at no extra cost to you. Should we not be able to provide suitable alternative accommodation, we will reimburse any sums already paid by you. We will be under no further obligation or liability for any losses or expense arising from the cancellation.
There are no further circumstances for which we will be liable for a refund.
The front door is accessed by 7 large steps. All guest rooms are accessed by 37 regular stairs with 4 landings on the second floor, a further 4 stairs to the last two rooms. Unfortunately, as the rooms comprise part of Grade II Listed building, there are no ramps or lifts, so we suggest you do not pack too heavy a case. Help will be available on most days if required. We also advise that there is no wheelchair access to the rooms. If guests have any significant mobility issues we politely suggest they look for more suitable accommodation.
There is a strict no smoking policy in all our rooms. Anyone thought to be smoking in their room (or out of the window!) may be asked to leave with immediate effect and with no compensation for unused days. We reserve the right charge the cardholder for any additional nights the room remains un-saleable and for any additional cleaning required as a result.
Vehicles are parked at the owner?s risk. Bloomfield House accepts no liability for any damage or loss sustained to any vehicles whilst parked on the property. On a positive note, parking is free of charge.
If you accidently take your keys with you we politely ask you to return them as soon as possible. We reserve the right to charge £35 to replace any keys not returned within a reasonable period and up to £350 to replace the locks if deemed necessary.
Liability and Insurance
Bloomfield House, its employees and agents do not accept third party liability in respect of breach of contract, negligence, misrepresentation or otherwise. We cannot in any circumstances accept liability for any personal injury, loss of life, damage, loss or accident to personal property. Visitors are advised to ensure their own insurance covers any loss or damage to personal property during their stay and to ensure adequate personal and travel insurance is taken out.
Any damage to the property and its contents by guests or their pets will be charged accordingly. Please bring any accidental damage to our attention as soon as possible. Failure to do so may result in a room being un-saleable, resulting in further charges.
We reserve the right to allocate rooms regardless of which room you have booked. We will always allocate a room of the same or higher value. If this is not possible we will contact you in advance of your stay.
